ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Rudy Pacheco, 86, of Adams, died on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at North Adams Commons.

He was born in Stockton, CA on April 13, 1939, son of the late Steve Pacheco and Ruby Samaniego. He attended schools in California.

Mr. Pacheco worked for United Abrasives in Willimantic, CT for over 40 years until retiring and relocated to Adams in 2017 to be closer to his family.

His wife, the former Elizabeth (Hyman) Kowalsky, whom he spent many years prior to their marriage in 1998, died on July 18, 2020.

He is survived by his son, Stanley E. Kowalsky, III of Adams; his daughter, Lauren Malloy and her husband Robert of Adams; his brother, Jesse Ramirez; five sisters, Rosella Sedra, Ann Del Rio, Jovita Ramirez, Ruby Hansen and Ophelia Ramirez; six grandchildren, Laura O’Neil and her husband Ryan, Robert Malloy, III, Adam Malloy, Jessie Schaffrick, Jason Schaffrick and Jeffery Baribeault and his wife Ariana; one great grandson, Parker O’Neil and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter Lynn Schaffrick.
