Melissa J. Grande, 74

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Miss Melissa J. Grande, 74, of Adams, died on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Melbourne Place in Pittsfield.

She was born in North Adams on December 23, 1950, daughter of the late Alexander and Marie (Hanke) Grande. She attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams with the class of 1970.

Miss Grande last worked for 23 years at Aladco Linen Services in Adams until retiring. Earlier she had worked for the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams and he Adams Berkshire Inn and the Northside Motel in Williamstown.

She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, North Adams and had been a longtime member of the former St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Adams. She enjoyed collecting Elvis items, dolls and bears. She and her mother went on many bus trips all over the East. She was an avid vegetable gardener and enjoyed crafts such as rug hooking and needle point.

She is survived by her brother Brian Grande and his wife Ann of Adams; one nephew, two nieces and many cousins.

The funeral will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 10:00 A.M. in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.

Calling hours are Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
