Christopher W. Kirby, 41

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Christopher William Kirby, 41, of Williamstown, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at home. He was born in North Adams on July 23, 1984, to William M. and Deborah J. Kirby lll.

Christopher was a graduate of Drury High School and went on to work at the Berkshire Eagle, Steinerfilm and later at Cascade School Supplies. He was known for his reliability, kind nature, and the friendships he formed wherever he worked.

A lifelong NASCAR enthusiast, Christopher was a devoted fan of Jeff Gordon and rarely missed watching a race on TV. Had the same love for the Tennessee Titans football as well as the Detroit Red Wings hockey. Growing up, he loved camping and had a natural ability to connect with people, always enjoying meeting someone new. He had a special fondness for English bulldogs, which brought him great joy and always wished for a real one.

Christopher is survived by his parents William and Deborah, his sister, Melissa Maxon and her husband, Robert; his beloved nephew, Anthony Maxon; and his cherished great-niece, SkyLeigh Maxon. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will remember him fondly.

Christopher will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love of racing, football, hockey, family and the quiet kindness he showed to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
