ADAMS, Mass. — Mrs. Vivian (Jzyk) Menard, 76, of Adams, died Saturday morning, February 7, 2026 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Adams on May 16, 1949, daughter of the late Frederick and Helen (Piwko) Jzyk. She attended Adams schools, graduating from the former Adams Memorial High School in 1967. She then attended the LIM Institute in New York City and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the former North Adams State College.

Vivian worked in the retail sector all her life, and worked for several area retail stores, including the former Macy’s and Cleary Jewelers, until retiring. She enjoyed housekeeping, flower gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence W. Menard, whom she married on June 17, 1972; her sister Virginia Jordan and her husband Jeffrey, an several cousins including Jeffrey and Dennis Wilson and Susan Marko.
