Irene V. LaDue, 86

Irene V. LaDue of 177 Bracewell Ave. in North Adams, Mass., passed away at home on March 3, 2026, in the supportive care of her loved ones.

Irene was born in North Adams on February 3, 1940, to Leo R. LaDue and Mildred Yarter LaDue, and attended local schools, graduated from Drury High School in 1958.

She worked primarily as a bookkeeper, most recently for Excelsior Processing in North Adams and The Captain’s Table restaurant in Williamstown, Mass.

She leaves her lifelong friend Beverly Buletti; niece Terri Lee (Ray); grandniece René LaVoie (Chris) and their children Liam and Calder; grandnephew Daniel Lee (Jordan) and their children Kasper and Finn; along with many cousins, including Sandra Girard (Glenn) and Cirena Lemaire.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Ruth Ann LaDue and Mildred Rita LaDue.

Irene will be remembered for her gentle soul and sharp mind, which she retained to the end. She was a crackerjack solver of puzzles and had a quick, piercing wit. She loved nothing more than visiting Maine each fall and watching every single Red Sox game, both with her beloved Beverly.

A celebration of the Life of Irene V. LaDue will take place on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, WEST CHAPELS, 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA.
