Glenn D. Alibozek, 65

ADAMS, Mass. —  

Mr. Glenn D. Alibozek, 65, of Adams, died on Friday, April 3, 2026, at his home.

He was born in North Adams on October 9, 1960, a son of the late David and Doris (Burnett) Alibozek. He attended schools in Adams and graduated from the Charles H. McCann Technical High School. He then attended Hartford Tech in Connecticut.

Glenn worked as a machinist from the age of 15 having last worked for Atlantis Corp in Stephentown, NY until his retirement. Earlier he had worked for many companies, including the former H&R Machine, Beloit Jones, General Electric, Pro Mac and TOG Machine.

He loved playing hockey since he was a teen, he was a member for many years in 4H, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins.

He is survived by his wife, the former Heidi J. Obanhein, whom he married on May 25, 1985; his son, Travis Alibozek of Pittsfield; two daughters, Jamielyn Roy of Pittsfield and Jazmine Alibozek of Craig, Alaska; his granddaughter Natalia Roy; two brothers, Gary Alibozek and his wife Sharyn of Adams and Brian Alibozek of Adams; his sister Cheryl Johnson and her husband Christopher of Bennington and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10th at 4:00 P.M. at the Bounti-Fare Restaurant, Howland Ave., Adams. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Berkshire Youth Hockey League (NBYHL) P.O. Box 995, North Adams, MA 01247-0995.

The PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
