David A. Boucher, 67

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  David Allen Boucher, 67, of North Adams, MA died tragically on Monday, May 11, 2026 at his home.

Born in North Adams, MA on October 1, 1958, he was a son of the late Shirley Ann (Chalifoux) and Bernard Gilbert Boucher. David graduated from Drury High School and served in the Massachusetts National Guard.

Dave was a machine operator with Crane Paper Company for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and participating in the many cultural events of North Adams.

He married the love of his life, Linda Laura (Murach) Boucher, on December 16, 1977, and together they raised a family. He was a devoted husband and father.

David was predeceased by his wife, Linda; his daughter, Sheila (Boucher) Thoresen; and his brother, Mark Boucher. He will be missed by his son-in-law, Michael H. Thoresen, of Monroe; grandson, Ethan A. Thoresen; step-grandson, Connor Nielsen; his in laws and nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for David Allen Boucher will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Homes, WEST CHAPELS 521 West Main St, North Adams, MA. Burial will follow at the Southview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning June 11th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. I will never understand what happened.Dave I will miss all the the time's hunting and fishing, going on vacation, just hanging out at barbecues. We have been friends since we both got married.
