Bruna Margaret Vivori, 94

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. —  Bruna Margaret (Piantoni) Vivori, 94 of North Adams died Monday August 10, 2026 at North Adams Commons.

She was born on January 20, 1932 a daughter of the late Agostino and Josephine (Morandi) Piantoni. She attended schools in Readsboro, VT., graduating from St. Joseph High School in North Adams with the class of 1950.

Bruna retired after a 40 year history. Thirty years at Sprague Electric Company in the Sales Office ending her career as an Account Manager in the Export Department. She later worked and retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Senior Interviewer in The Division of Employment and Training.

She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and celebrating holidays together.

Her wish to her family is to love one another and live in peace.

Her husband Gillio “Gene” Anthony Vivori whom she married July 30, 1955 died October 1, 2022. Survivors include her daughter Christine Ramsdell, husband Tom, sons Ross Vivori , wife Michele and David Vivori , wife Barbara. She also leaves grandchildren Amanda Banks, Brad Vivori, Chase Vivori, Kayla Vivori, Nicholas Vivori, great grandchildren Vincent, Benjamin, Jude, Luke, and Jayda.

Bruna is predeceased by her brother Gino Piantoni who died in 1979 and sister Giselle Blake who died in 2014.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A liturgy of Christian burial for Bruna will take place Friday August 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in the family plot in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will take place the same day from 9-10:30 AM at Flynn & Dagnoli – Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St, North Adams, MA 01247.
