Richard Lennon

Richard H. Lennon, 69, of 600 Main St. died Friday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Dalton on Nov. 7, 1931, son of John and Gladys Gunn Lennon, he attended Dalton schools. He was a self-employed electrician for many years before working for The Maintenance Man for 11 years. He retired in 1993. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He leaves three sons, Charles Lennon of Peru, Steven Lennon of Kingston, N.H., and Mark Lennon of Weaver, Ala.; three brothers, Arthur Lennon of Dalton, Donald Lennon of Hinsdale and Jack Lennon of Pittsfield; a sister, Barbara Jean Lennon of Stephentown, N.Y., and five grandchildren. He also leaves a close friend, Janet Ellsworth of Dalton. A memorial service for Richard H. Lennon will be held Sunday, Feb. 18, at 1 at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME in Dalton. Calling hours at the funeral home will be the same day from 11:30 to 1. If friends desire, donations are suggested to the American Heart Association.
