Maria Clark

Maria Clark, 44, of 2 Baker St., Lanesboro, died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center shortly after being admitted. Born in Naples, Italy, on June 2, 1956, daughter of Anthony and Angela Scandolaro Carnevale, she emigrated as a young child with her family to the United States and was educated in Pittsfield schools and was a 1974 graduate of Taconic High School. She and her husband, Peter C. Clark, owned and operated their own trucking business, which they leased to F.L. Castine Moving Co. They traveled nationwide, specializing in the relocation of General Electric Co. executives and their families. She was able to assist families transition more easily in their new cities and surroundings. She enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. Besides her parents of Pittsfield and her husband, Peter, whom she married Feb. 14, 1987, she leaves two sisters, Toni R. Jamross of Dalton and Sylvia A. Carnevale of Pittsfield, and a brother, Marco D. Carnevale of Boston. Clark, Maria Carnevale, age 44, of Lanesboro, died Jan. 29. Her sister, Anita L. Carnevale Farr, died March 9, 1999. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 at St. Teresa's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery on Friday at 11:30. There are no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME
