Ann M. Flint

Ann M. "Babe" Flint, 77, of Twin Spruce died Monday at home. Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 18, 1924, daughter of Adolph and Ann Corcoran Quellette, she attended Pittsfield schools. Mrs. Flint was employed by General Electric Co. in Pittsfield from 1969 until retiring in 1984. She married Neal H. Flint on Nov. 27, 1948, and moved to Lenox Dale, where she had resided until moving to Charlestown, N.H., in 1986. She moved to Lee in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, gardening and attending church. She also served as a Scout den mother. Besides her husband of 53 years, she leaves two sons, Paul L. Flint of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Edward A. Flint of Chesapeake, Va.; two daughters, Ann M. Morgan of South China, Maine, and Cynthia E. Brouker of Lee; two brothers, Paul T. Quellette of Lanesboro and Homer L. Quellette of Pittsfield; a sister, Jeanne M. Brighenti of Lee; 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Flint leaves her daughters-in-law, Anne and Caroline; her sons-in-law, William and Steven. She also leaves her loving grandchildren, Amie, Scott, Kristen, Heather, Mary, Jean-Francoise, Jonathan, James, Justin, Alicia, Brittany, Emily and Allan (A.J.), and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday morning at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 5 to 8. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to the Lee Visiting Nurse Association or HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
