Ann L. Lifvergren

Ann L. Lifvergren, 87, of Bay State Road died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 4, 1913, daughter of Emil H. and Anna Martenson Lifvergren, she was a 1931 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a 1933 graduate of Berkshire Business College. Miss Lifvergren was employed for 40 years as a calculator in the power transformer test department at General Electric Co., retiring in 1976. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She leaves several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Roger Davis, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Pittsfield, officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Among survivors are her nephews, Allen E. Lifvergren of York, Maine, Jon E. Lifvergren of Pittsfield and Gary Cushman of Cheshire; and her nieces, Susan L. Driscoll and Gail Cushman, both of Pittsfield. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to either the First United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society. The WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201 is in charge of arrangements.
