Lola F. DaleyMorrison

Lola F. DaleyMorrison, 80, of 64 Franklin St. died yesterday at Laurel Lake Center. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 15, 1923, daughter of Alfonso and Maria Vitale Troiano, she made her home in Lee and was educated there. A nurse's aide, Mrs. Morrison had been employed at Vesper Hills in Great Barrington. During the 1940s and ‘50s, she worked at the former St. Luke's Hospital in Pittsfield. She enjoyed cooking and taking trips to Cape Cod. Her husband, Daniel J. Morrison, died Aug. 25, 1982. She leaves a son, former Lee Selectman Nelson J. Daley of Lee; two brothers, Joseph J. Troiano of Pittsfield and Peter F. Troiano of Housatonic; two sisters, Mary A. Castellini and Fanny C. Mohl, both of Lee; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Lola F. Daley Morrison will be tomorrow, Nov. 25, at 9:15 from KELLY FUNERAL HOME in Lee, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be today from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations to St. Mary's School in care of the funeral home. She leaves her loving grandchildren, Rachel, Sean, Justin, Joseph, Shamus, Niall, Susan, Emily and Matthew. Lola was predeceased by her brothers, Hugo and John, and her sisters, Susie, Yolanda and Helen.
