Richard E. Gould

Richard E. Gould, 73, of 2507 Berwick Court, Henderson, Nev., died Monday of pulmonary failure. He was the husband of the former Elda Ricalzone, a native of Pittsfield. Born in Newark, N.J., on July 26, 1927, son of Joseph and Wilhelmina Mason Gould, he graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor of science degree. He was Navy veteran of World War II, and was in the Marines during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Gulf Oil Co. in 1985. He leaves his wife, whom he married Nov. 17, 1984, in Houston, Texas; a stepdaughter, Loren Elaske of Huffman, Texas; two stepsons, David Pelton and Robert Pelton Arjet, both of Austin, Texas; and six step-grandchildren.
