Sharon L. Herlihy, 36, of Hampstead, N.C., formerly of Pittsfield, died Thursday at her parents' home in Fair Haven, N.Y., after a long illness. Born in Pittsfield on April 3, 1967, daughter of Louis and Sandra Norton Parreault, she attended local schools, including Pittsfield High School. She resided on Watts Landing Road, Hampstead, N.C., for 10 years before moving to Fair Haven in November 2003. Besides her parents, she leaves her fiancÃ©, John Carrick of Hampstead; three daughters, Rebecca Lynn Henault and Tiffany and Krystal Herlihy, all of Fair Haven; a brother, Louis Parreault Jr. of Pittsfield, and her maternal grandmother, Claire Pignone of Pittsfield. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Sharon L. Herlihy, who died Feb. 5, 2004, will be held at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent to Caring House, 2625 Pickett Road, Durham, NC 27705. Arrangements made by BECKER FUNERAL HOME, Red Creek, N.Y. She also leaves her fiancÃ©'s two sons, Jake and Jason Carrick, whom she had raised for 10 years.
