Pearl Jeanette LaBrie

Pearl Jeanette LaBrie, 91, formerly of Linden Street, died yesterday morning at Berkshire Medical Center. She had resided at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility since June 1999, prior to which she had been a resident of the former Ashmere Nursing Home in Hinsdale. Born in New York, N.Y., on July 6, 1912, daughter of Joseph and Pamela LaBrie, she attended schools in Pittsfield. Miss LaBrie had been employed by the former Woolworth's store for 17 1/2 years, then by the former Liggett's Drug Store for five years, and then by Grand Union Supermarket, where she worked for 30 years retiring as a supervisor in 1977. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church. She leaves nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Miss Pearl Jeanette LaBrie, 91, who died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, will be held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Church, celebrated by the Rev. Kish V. Max, parochial vicar. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
