Richard R. Hunt, 72
ADAMS, Mass. — Richard Roland Hunt, 72, of 37 Elm St. died Monday afternoon, April 30, 2001, at home after a long illness.
Born in Williamstown on June 20, 1928, son of Charles T. and Jessie May Ellsworth Hunt, he grew up on the family farm on Henderson Road in Williamstown.
Mr. Hunt was a resident of Sweet Brook Care Center in Williamstown for 22 years, where he gained employment through Arcadia in Adams. He moved to Adams in 1993.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Williamstown.
He leaves a brother, Charles T. Hunt Jr. of Williamstown; a sister, Emma Archambault of Williamstown, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by four siblings, Henry B. Hunt, Roy S. Hunt, Delores Hunt and Catherine Speanburg.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Hunt will be Wednesday, May 2, at 11 from Sherman Burbank Memorial Chapel. At the request of Mr. Hunt, there will be no calling hours. Burial will be in the family lot in Eastlawn Cemetery.
