NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Amber L. Ritcher, 66, of Dorena, Ore., formerly of North Adams, died April 20, 2001, at Coast Fork Nursing Home in Cottage Grove, Ore. Born in Montpelier, Vt., on Aug. 13, 1934, daughter of Kenneth and Ruth Stewart Davis, she graduated from Drury High School. Before moving to Dorena, she had resided in Riverside, Calif., from 1979 to 1993. Mrs. Ritcher was employed by GE in Pittsfield for 10 years. She enjoyed embroidery and crocheting. She and her husband, Robert Ritcher Sr., were married Oct. 14, 1952, in North Adams. Besides her husband, she leaves six sons, Robert Ritcher Jr., James Ritcher and Jay Ritcher, all of Cottage Grove, Mark Ritcher of Pocatello, Idaho, John Ritcher of North Adams and Karl Ritcher of Riverside; a daughter, Karen Ritcher of Springfield, Ore.; three brothers, Walter Davis of North Adams, Kenneth Davis Jr. of Riverside and Clarence Davis of Pittsfield; a sister, Alice Kolodziej of Adams; 19 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Reginald Ritcher and Ronald Ritcher.
