Isabella Goodair

Isabella Goodair, 100, of 253 Dawes Ave. died Monday at home. Born in Rickmansworth, England, on April 1, 1901, daughter of Hugh W. and Isabella Southall Goodair, she attended schools in England. She came to the United States in 1923. Miss Goodair was a nanny for Dr. and Mrs. Warfield T. Longcope in Baltimore and Lee for many years. She later cared for newborn babies in private homes in various parts of the country. She enjoyed reading, sewing and traveling. She leaves a sister, Annie L. Wheeler of Dalton. The family will receive friends at the home of Suzanne Kittle, 290 Dalton Division Road, Pittsfield, on Saturday, June 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials in her memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, which is handling arrangements.
