Wyoane Gadreault

Wyoane "Peggy" Gadreault, 82, of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Colrain, died June 4 at home. She was the mother of Mary Jo Humphrey of Dalton. Born in Greenfield on Oct. 4, 1918, daughter of Calvin and Vivian Holt Rogers, she had resided in Boynton Beach since 1970. Mrs. Gadreault was the owner and operator of Peggy's Beauty Shop in Greenfield for several years prior to her retirement. She was also a Realtor. She enjoyed line dancing, playing cards, swimming, making ceramics and shopping. Besides her daughter, she leaves her husband, Howard Gadreault, whom she married Aug. 14, 1938; two brothers, Calvin Rogers Jr. of Portland, Maine, and John Rogers of Greenfield; a sister, Margaret Shaw of Charlemont, and two grandsons. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at SMITH-KELLEHER FUNERAL HOME in Shelburne Falls. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in North River Cemetery, Colrain. There are no calling hours. It is suggested donations be made to either the Colrain Fire Department in care of Larry Dumas, 142 Calvin Coombs Road, Colrain, MA 01340; or the Colrain Ambulance Association in care of June Ahearn, also of 142 Calvin Coombs Road, Colrain, MA 01340.
