Alma M. Brazeau, 87

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Alma Marie Brazeau, 87, of 4 Sterling Drive died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Williamstown Commons. Born in North Adams on March 10, 1925, daughter of Alfred and Mary Neville Bergeron, she graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School. Mrs. Brazeau was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for 20 years, until her retirement. She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She and her husband, Eldor G. "Pete" Brazeau, were married on Sept. 2, 1946, in St. Francis' Church. Besides her husband of 66 years, she leaves a daughter, Sandra Jean Descoteau of Adams; two granddaughters, Rebecca Whitaker and Lisa Odvar and her husband, John; four great-grandchildren, Danielle and Joseph Whitaker and Cameron and Aiden Odvar, and nieces and nephews. Her son, James Brazeau, died in 1959 and her daughter Carol Rolnick in 2010. Her siblings Rita Chenail and Dorothy, Alfred, Raymond and Arthur Bergeron are also deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE - A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Brazeau will be celebrated Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Williamstown Commons in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.

I remember Alma from Sprague Electric. She was a very nice lady with a great laugh. My prayers go to her family.
