Sullivan Leads Taconic Boys Past Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Zachary Sullivan scored a pair of goals Monday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 7-0 win over Drury.
 
Sullivan broke a scoreless tie in the 25th minute, and Drury gave up an own goal moments later. Eric Quaidoo gave the Thunder a 3-0 lead at half-time.
 
In the second half, Taconic got goals from Sullivan, Ethan O’Connell, Thomas Lopez and Martin Bonilla.
 
Tim Parsons made two saves to earn the shutout in goal.
 
Colin Daley and Parker Rivard split time in goal for Drury, each making eight saves.
 
The Blue Devils (0-1) go to Westfield Tech on Tuesday.
 
Taconic (1-0) hosts Putnam Voc on Wednesday.
