Athlete of the Week: Cori Ghidotti
Junior Cori Ghidotti scored a goal in all three of her team's games, helping the Blue Devils to a 2-1 record and two South Division wins last week.On Monday, the forward scored the lone goal of the game in Drury's 1-0 road win over Lee. A day later, Ghidotti netted the game-tying goal in the first half against Monument Mountain, which avoided the upset by scoring a late goal to pull out a 2-1 win over the Blue Devils. Ghidotti finished her week off strong, sending home a pass from classmate Morgan Lamarre to put the finishing touches on Drury's 3-0 victory over Mount Everett on Thursday.
Ghidotti has been an integral part of her team's offense as she leads the Devils with nine goals this season, scoring more than half of their season total of 14.
