Drury Girls Beat Pioneer Valley

NORTHFIELD, Mass. – Ella Bond scored to break a 1-1 tie in the second half and sent the Drury girls soccer team on to a 2-1 win over Pioneer Valley on Wednesday afternoon.

Lily Mirante scored early off a through ball from Stella Smith, and the Blue Devils took a 1-0 lead into half-time.

The Panthers tied it midway through the second half.

But Mirante set up Bond, who was able to beat the keeper one-on-one for the game-winner.

Drury (3-5) is at Lenox on Friday.
