McCann Tech Girls Earn Shutout Road Win

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Allayna Bishop scored a goal, and Bella Lefevre made a late save to preserve a 1-0 win for the McCann Tech girls soccer team at Westfield Tech on Monday.

“Defeating a quality team like Westfield takes a complete performance, and our players showed massive heart today,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said.

Lamie Ameen set up Bishop for the game’s only goal.

Lefevre split time in the Hornets’ goal with Zoe Kratz, combining to make six saves. Lefevre stopped a breakaway opportunity for Westfield Tech in the closing moments to seal the win.

McCann Tech (3-9-3) hosts St. Mary’s on Wednesday.
