Marcisz Leads Mounties into Sweet 16

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mila Marcisz scored four goals Monday to lead the Mount Greylock girls soccer team to a 7-2 win over Mount Everett in the Division 5 State Tournament.
 
Marcisz opened the game with a natural hat trick, and the Mounties led, 5-1, by the end of the first half.
 
Lily McDermott had a hat trick of her own to provide the balance of Mount Greylock's offense.
 
Chevelle Raifstanger scored a goal and set up a goal by Ella Gennari for Mount Everett, which finishes the year with a record of 9-6-5.
 
Fourth-seeded Mount Greylock (17-2) advances to host David Prouty (7-7-3) in the Round of 16 on a date to be announced.
