The young Mountie, Kelsey Orpin, is making quite a name for herself in her sophomore season, helping pace the Greylock offense and playing a critical role in two key South Division wins last week. The Mounties' forward first scored the game-tying goal in the second half of Greylock's 2-1 win over Hoosac Valley. Orpin was even more active in Thursday's 3-0 win over Drury, finding the back of the net less than six minutes in before setting up junior Sophie Leamon with another goal shortly after halftime.

So far this season, Orpin leads the Mounties (3-1-1) with six points, scoring four goals and adding two assists in the first four games of the year.

"We had [Kelsey] on defense last year, but pushed her up to offense this year," Greylock head coach Tom Ostheimer said after the win over Drury. "She really puts a lot of stress on opposing defenses. She's got a beautiful cross, she can go vertically really quickly and her start-stop speed is incredible."
