Pope, Pittsfield Double Up Colts

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Madi Pope had a hat trick and set up Pittsfield’s fourth goal in a 4-2 win over Chicopee Comprehensive on Saturday at Kirvin Park.

Abbey Wong scored that other goal, and Devin Wendling, Ava Palmer and Reese Albano each had an assist for the Generals, who built a 3-1 lead at half-time.

“"We showed up flat and struggled to find our groove the entire game,” PIttsfield coach Molly West said. “I'm glad we were able to put some goals in early. Hannah Dalton was exceptional on defense and Ella [Kroboth] made multiple aggressive saves in the second half."

Kroboth was credited with nine stops in the win.

Pittsfield (5-5) goes to Mount Greylock on Monday.
