Taconic Volleyball Sweeps Monument Mountain

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Sophie Aubin pulled up 10 digs Monday as the Taconic volleyball team beat Monument Mountain in three sets.

 

Aubin, a libero, also had three kills in the 25-9, 25-15, 25-22 win.

 

Ella Stodden passed out 26 assists and filled the stat sheet with three digs, two aces, stow kills and a block.

 

“Captains Ella Stodden and Sophie Aubin led the charge and played a huge part in our victory,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said. “Sophomore Gracie Cormier, usually a starter, sat the bench Friday night with the juniors for Senior Night, but shined tonight proving that she truly deserves to be out on the court by leading Taconic tonight in kills with six.”

 

Taconic (8-9) finishes the regular season on Wednesday at home against Southwick.
