Millionaires Stay Unbeaten

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Sara Isby had a double-double Tuesday to lead the Lenox volleyball team to a three-set win over Taconic.

 

Isby put down 10 kills and pulled up 14 digs in the 25-21, 25-19, 25-16 win.

 

Bella Baltazar and Olivia Ackerman directed the offense with 13 and 12 assists, respectively. Baltazar also had a pair of kills, and Ackerman served two aces.

 

Evelyn Juliano recorded six digs and five kills, while Ally Lefkowitz was credited with seven digs in the win.

 

“Really hard played and exhausting night for us defensively tonight,” Taconic coach Lance Fyfe said. “Lenox is really good at strategically placing the ball and controlled the game all night. We were unfortunately not able to get the ball to our hitters tonight making Lenox's job a lot easier.”

 

On the other hand, Taconic did get 21 digs from Isla DiMassimo, 18 from Mollie Crawford and 14 from Gracie Cormier. Kira Burston passed out seven assists, and Cormier had five kills.

 

Lenox (3-0) hosts Pittsfield on Thursday.

 

Taconic (2-1) is home against Mount Greylock on Thursday.
