Mount Everett Icers Win at Albany Tourney

COLONIE, N.Y. -- Three different players scored to lead the Mount Everett hockey team to a 3-1 win over Christian Brothers Academy in the first round of the CBA Tournament at the Albany County Hockey Facility.
 
Jake Corcoran, Noah Hunter and Jacob Malicky each had a goal and an assist for the Eagles.
 
Mount Everett (3-0-1) scored two in the second period to take a 2-0 lead.
 
In the third, CBA got a goal, but Malicky answered with an assist from Corcoran to re-establish Mount Everett's two-goal edge.
 
Jonah Swoates was named the game's most valuable player after stopping 22 shots.
 
The Eagles face Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in the tournament final on Sunday at 11:45 a.m.
