Peaslee Scores Two for Taconic in Win Over Mt. Everett

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Brandan Peaslee scored twice to lead the Taconic hockey team to a 6-2, comeback win over Mount Everett on Saturday. 
 
The Eagles were ahead, 1-0, with about five minutes left in the first period when Shane Tierney set up Peaslee for his first. 
 
Kyle Cocker and Peaslee then added two more goals in the next two minutes. 
 
Jacob Malicky (one goal, one assist) scored to get Mount Everett within a goal midway through the second. 
 
But Connor Conant and Harrison Rapant scored before the end of the period to make it 5-2, and Matt Gingras added an insurance goal early in the third for Taconic, which improved to 5-6-1.
