Taconic Boys, Girls Top Wahconah

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Gillian Campbell won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke to lead the Taconic girls swimming team to a 98-71 win over Wahconah on Wednesday.
 
Campbell edged Taconic's Mickaela DeFoe by .15 seconds in the 50 free. Campbell finished in 30.44 seconds.
 
In the 100 back, Campbell finished in 1:18.43.
 
DeFoe went on to win the 500 free (5:40.64) and swim a leg on Wahconah's winning medley relay along with Bridget Lussier, Summer Daley and Erin Archambault.
 
Taconic's girls won the other two relays.
 
In the 200 free relay, Campbell teamed with Spring Hajjar, Allison Gage and Alexis Huxtable for the victory. The 400 free relay was won by Hajjar, Hailey Fiorini, Olivia Bordeau and Campbell.
 
Taconic's boys won their meet with Wahconah, 32-20, in a meet that saw only six contested events and no relays.
 
Kyle Rochelo took first in the 200 individual medley (3:02.09) and 100 free (1:07.40). Wahconah's Miles Cramer won the 200 free (2:35.12) and 50 free (30.58).
