Beaudoin Scores Game-Winner as Wahconah Tops Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Andrew Beaudoin scored about five minutes into the third period to break a 2-2 tie and send the Wahconah hockey team to a 3-2 win over Taconic on Wednesday night at the Boys & Girls Club.
 
After Jeff Hancock scored in the second minute to give Taconic the early lead, Brandon Peaslee and Harrison Rapant scored back-to-back goals to give Taconic a 2-1 lead at the first intermission.
 
Kevin Quinto and Steven Poripski had assists on Peaslee's goal.
 
Hancock scored again in the second on Devon Baittini's second assist of the game to tie it.
 
Sean Davis set up Beaudoin for the game-winner at 4 minutes, 48 seconds of the third period.
 
Nico Romano got the win in goal.
 
Wahconah travels to West Springfield on Saturday evening as Taconic takes on Belchertown at the University of Massachusetts.
