LITTLETON, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team tied Littleton 3-3 midway through the first half and trailed by three at half-time but could not overcome the sixth-seeded Tigers in the Central/Western Massachusetts Division 2 quarterfinals.

The sixth-seeded Mounties (18-2-1) fell behind early, but Kelsey Orpin set up Maggie Rorke to get the visitors on the board, 2-1.

Caroline Flynn tied it moments later, but Littleton went up in the ninth minute.

The high water mark for Mount Greylock came less than a minute later, when Orpin scored an unassisted goal to make it 3-3.

From there on out, it was all Littleton (14-5), which faces No. 2 Grafton (15-4) in the semis.
