Mount Greylock Boys Tennis Takes 5-0 Win in Opener

LENOX, Mass. -- Jake and Brady Foehl battled to a three-set victory at No. 1 doubles to complete a season-opening sweep for the Mount Greylock boys tennis team at Lenox on Monday.
 
Lenox's Hugo Hale and Henrik Palmer bounced back from a 6-2 loss in the first set to take the second in a tie-breaker, but the Foehls rallied to capture a 6-2, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4 victory.
 
The Mounties did not drop a set elsewhere en route to a 5-0 win.
 
Nyeim Soe won at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2, over Lenox's Rishi Kedia. Gray Kaegi and Josh Narey got the other Mount Greylock singles wins.
 
In No. 2 doubles, the tandom of Matt Wiseman and Sam Dils won 6-2, 6-3.
 
Lenox plays at Lee on Wednesday. Mount Greylock goes to Mount Everett on Thursday.
