DALTON, Mass. -- Caroline Flynn scored three goals to lead the Mount Greylock girls lacrosse team to a 10-5 win over Wahconah on Monday.

Julia Whitney, Sarah Stripp and Maggie Rorke each scored twice for the Mounties, who earned some payback for a tie to Wahconah in Williamstown earlier this season.

Lucy Barrett scored a goal, and Whitney and Stripp each added an assist for Mount Greylock, which got seven saves from Paige Willis.

"We seemed like we could not overcome our jitters," Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. "We struggled with catching the ball today. They pressured us hard and we could not connect the passes."

Angela Colson had a hat trick for the home team, and Perin Genaway and Emmy Cote each scored once.

Katie Bachli and Luz Culpepper combined to stop 11 shots for Wahconah.
