Pittsfield Boys, Girls Track Win at Mount Greylock

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Amanda Wright won the triple jump, the long jump, the 200 meters and the 400 meters to lead the Pittsfield girls track and field team to an 86-55 win over Mount Greylock on Friday afternoon at Williams College's Lee Track.
 
Wright ran the 400 in 1 minute, 2.0 seconds to edge Mount Greylock's Maddie Albert (1:03.2). The two dueled again in the 200, where Wright prevailed by a margin of 27.5 to 28.4.
 
Wright went 14 feet, 2 inches in the long jump and 31-51.25 in the triple.
 
Mount Greylock's Jackie Van Slyke won the shot put and discus with throws of 30-3.75 and 87-9, respectively.
 
In the boys meet, Pittsfield beat Mount Greylock, 85-56.
 
Evan Bossio was a triple winner for the Generals, taking first in the 200 (24.0), javelin (140-4) and long jump (16-10.25).
 
Josh Bonney won the 100 hurdles (15.2) and the high jump (5-8) for PHS.
 
Mount Greylock's Tommy Kirby won the 1600 (4:50.3) and the 3200 (10:25.5).
