Hinkell Pitches Blue Devils Past Mohawk Trail

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Connor Hinkell struck out 14 in six innings of work Monday to pitch the Drury baseball team to an 8-0 win over Mohawk Trail at Joe Wolfe Field.
 
Hinkell allowed just one hit and walked no one before giving the ball to Jake McAllister, who threw one inning of hitless relief.
 
Hinkell helped his cause by doubling and scoring a pair of runs.
 
Hunter Marceau and JJ Prenguber each drove in a pair of runs.
 
Drury (1-1) is scheduled to go to Lee on Thursday.
