Barrett Leads McCann Tech Baseball in Road Win

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. – Hayden Barrett went 5-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBIs Friday to lead the McCann Tech baseball team to a 17-9 win over Easthampton in the Hornets’ regular season finale.

 

Lukas Rylander and Andrew Meaney each went 2-for-4 at the plate. Meaney doubled and drove in three runs.

 

He also stole two bases among nine swipes for McCann Tech.

 

Rylander and Hayden Barrett split time on the mound, striking out nine and allowing four earned runs.

 

McCann Tech (9-8) waits to learn who it will face in the first round of next week’s state tournament.
