PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Cam Reynolds drove in four runs and played a solid game behind the plate Monday to lead the Taconic baseball team to an 8-3 win over West Springfield.

The win was the third in the row for the Thunder, who improved to 5-6 this spring.

“I’m proud of how these guys have been battling the last three games,” Taconic coach Ben Stohr said. “It started with another great outing from Evan Roccabruna on the mound. He’s been great at mixing looks and trusting his defense.

“Team win from top to bottom.”

Eddie Ferris had a couple of sacrifice flies for the Thunder.

Taconic gets a couple of days off before hosting Wahconah on Saturday.
