Rose Propels Taconic Baseball Past Hoosac Valley

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Cedric Rose went 4-for-4 with a triple, a double and four runs batted in Thursday as the Taconic baseball team defeated Hoosac Valley, 18-2, in five innings.
 
Christian Womble went 3-for-4 with a RBI, and Austin Rachiele tripled in a 16-hit Taconic attack.
 
Mitchell DeCelles earned the complete game win, allowing just a pair of hits and walking two.
 
Henry Sniezek and Devin Kogut had the hits for Hoosac Valley (2-6), which goes to Mohawk Trail on Friday.
 
Taconic (7-2) hosts Agawam on Saturday.
