Rose Keys Late Rally as Taconic Tops Mount Greylock

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Cedric Rose hit a leadoff triple and scored a game-tying run in the bottom of the sixth to spark a seven-run rally as the Taconic baseball team earned a 7-1 win over Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
 
Rose went 2-for-4 and later drove in a run in the game-winning rally. Ryan Gaudette went 2-for-3, and Dylan Burke drove in a pair of runs.
 
On the mound, Rose went 6-⅔ innings, striking out three, to earn the win. Christian Womble struck out the final batter of the game to close it out.
 
Phil Guest and Alex Backiel each had a hit for Mount Greylock (7-3), which hosts Southwick on Saturday.
 
Taconic (9-3) hosts Pope Francis on Thursday.
