Doyle, Wahconah Top Hoosac Valley

DALTON, Mass. – Anna Doyle scored four goals and assisted on three more Wednesday to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 17-6 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Mia Thomas and Brooke Harrington each had a hat trick, and Chloe DiFazio scored twice on a day when nine different Wahconah players put the ball in the goal.

 

“Overall nice balanced effort today,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “Nice effort finding their teammates for a pass and then a nice finish.”

 

Mya Lee made five stops to earn the win in goal.

 

Cameron Lovato made 11 saves for the Hurricanes, who got three goals from Niyanna Borawski and two from Reagan Shea.

 

Hoosac Valley (2-7) goes to Belchertown on Monday.

 

Wahconah (7-1) is at Northampton on Thursday.
