SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Ella Haber Monday scored four goals to lead the South Hadley girls lacrosse team to a 12-8 win over Pittsfield in the regular season finale for both teams.

Ella Kroboth scored four times, and Addie LaFerriere had a goal and an assist for the Generals.

“Proud of my girls for braving the heat and having only one sub today due to injuries/illness,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “Our draw work was strong and our midfielders – Ella [Kroboth], Lilly [Ferris], Addie [LaFerriere] and Asia [Smith-Moody] – were phenomenal and put in so much work all over the field.

“We struggled a bit defensively in the first half but, as a team, came out stronger in the second half. Adriana Soasti is a powerhouse and continues to be a strong leader in the defensive end.”

LaNiyah Gregory made seven saves in the loss.

Pittsfield (10-4) waits to hear who it will open play against in the preliminary round of the Division 3 State Tournament.
