Lynch Gets K No. 900 in Lee Blowout Win

AMHERST, Mass. – Bri Lynch struck out 11, including the 900th of her high school career, on Monday as the Lee softball team pounded Amherst-Pelham, 25-0, in five innings.

 

Lynch helped her cause by going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs at the plate.

 

Kayla Clark, Lily Brancato and Delaney Reed each went 3-for-4 in a 21-hit attack for the Wildcats.

 

Lee (9-7) waits to learn who it will play in the quarter-finals of this week’s Western Massachusetts Class D Tournament.
