Maynard Softball Downs McCann Tech

MAYNARD, Mass. – Maddy Karlon struck out 12 Tuesday to lead the fourth-seeded Maynard softball team to an 11-1 win over McCann Tech in the Division 5 State Tournament Round of 16.

 

Gabby Driscoll had a single and an RBI for the Hornets, who also got hits from Emma LeMire and Addison Pause.

 

LeMire split time in the circle with Avery Lane. The pair combined for four strikeouts and si earned runs.

 

McCann Tech finishes its season with a record of 17-4.
