McCann Tech Downs Mount Everett in Five Innings

SHEFFIELD, Mass. – Ryleigh Rathbun went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs Saturday to lead the McCann Tech softball team to a 15-2 win over Mount Everett.
 
Aiden Champney went 4-for-5 and drove in a pair of runs, and Shaylee Lawson finished 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a 17-hit attack for the Hornets.
 
Avery Lane went the distance in the five-inning win, striking out nine and allowing one earned run.
 
London Krans singled and drove in a run for the Eagles, who got a hit, a run and three stolen bases from Josephine Waiveris.
 
Mount Everett (1-7) hosts Smith Vocational on Monday.
 
McCann Tech (6-0) hosts Lee for a double-header on Tuesday.
