Soto, Duhamel Lead Taconic Softball Past Pope

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Abby Soto and Kylie Duhamel each homered Monday to lead the Taconic softball team to a 28-15 win over Pope Francis.

 

Soto went 3-for-6 with a triple and three RBIs. Duhamel was 5-for-5 at the plate with five runs batted in.

 

Ella Stodden was 3-for-5 with a triple and a double, and Ashlyn Houghtaling, Jianna Kruger, Mackenzie Boody and Toni Ahoussie each doubled in a 27-hit attack for the Thunder.

 

Madison Barber and Abby Bliss split time in the circle for Taconic.

 

The Thunder (5-14) finishes the season on Wednesday at home against Monument Mountain.
