Mount Greylock senior catcher, Caitie Benoit, has been an absolute menace  to opposing pitchers and in turn has helped her Mounties to a 6-0 start on the season, including three wins over Mount Anthony, Taconic, and McCann Tech last week.

To start the week she reached base four times against the Patriots,
finishing with two RBI, three runs scored, and three walks.  Benoit then went 2 for 3 with two solo bombs and two RBI against the Braves before closing out the week with a monster 4 for 4 day including a grand slam, four RBI, and three runs scored against the Hornets.

Benoit is on fire at the plate as her average sits at .750 through the first six games.  She leads the team in average, hits (12), runs (17), RBI (13), home runs (4), and walks (9).  The way Benoit is hitting the ball right now she is surely on pace for a career season in all categories across the board and will look to lead her Mountie team on a deep run into the Western Mass playoffs.
